Multi-IQ Multifrequency Technology

The first metal detector that has Multi-IQ Multifrequency technology and operates on all frequencies simultaneously. The Equinox 800 has 5 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 KHz and a 40 kHz search frequency. You can choose whether to search on a single frequency or on multi-IQ. The Equinox 800 searches on all frequencies at the same time. The advantage of a low 5 kHz frequency is that the metal detector has a wider depth range. The advantage of a 40 kHz search frequency is that the detector is more sensitive to small parts and gold (nuggets). Multi-IQ technology combines the best of all five frequencies!

Waterproof

Completely waterproof up to 3 meters under water, suitable for fresh and salt water, even sobing in the rain is no problem with the Equinox 800.

Search Modes

The Equinox 800 has 8 search modes. 2 search modes for parks, 2 for fields, 2 for beaches and 2 for gold hunting.

Built-in Bluetooth + Wifi WM08 wireless system including wireless headphones

The Minelab Equinox 800 has a built-in Bluetooth + Wifi WM08 radio system including wireless headphones. There is also a connection for optional wired headphones or underwater headphones. In addition, the volume can be adjusted directly via the control unit.

Built-in Li-ion battery

The Equinox 800 has a built-in Li-Ion battery that is rechargeable via magnetic USB port. The battery life is about 10 – 12 hours. You can also charge the Equinox via USB via a power bank during the search, so you can search and charge at the same time!

 Object identification

The Equinox has an object identification with conductance values, which can be easily read on the display during the search. Conductance values run from -9 to 0 for iron objects and from 0 to 40 for detecting more valuable objects, with silver objects having higher conductance values and gold objects having a medium conductance. Of course, you can also hide the iron objects from -9 to 0 with the discrimination function.

Display illumination

The Equinox series has display illumination, perfect for searching at dusk or in dark areas.

Pinpoint function and software updates

There is also a pinpoint function for recording the exact location. With the help of the pinpoint function, you can dig up the objects quickly and easily. It is also possible to perform Equinox software updates via USB.
